Our Maple Pecan maamoul is a maple syrup based reinterpretation of the beloved classic filling called Agamiya traditionally made with honey and walnuts. The filling is made of a soft and gooey carmelised maple syrup flavoured with our house-made vanilla bean extract and loaded with toasted pecans with a subtle addition of raisins to add chewiness. This creation is a fusion of Egyptian and Levantine pastry with a hint of Canadian flavours to make an exciting twist on a beloved classic. This flavour is a crowd pleaser and is especially loved by children.
